The nice thing about eating tapas is that you can always order something extra and share the snacks together (a picar). Depending on the number of people, you can determine the amount yourself. On the tapas menu you will usually see tapa, media ración or ración. In other words you can order a single bite, a half/small plate or a full/large plate.
